Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
Neveu Mechanical Services respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can contact us with privacy-related questions.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide when you contact us, request service, submit a form, call our office, email us, or otherwise communicate with us.
This information may include:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Service address
- Property type
- System or equipment details
- Photos, documents, messages, or other information you choose to provide
Website and Technical Information
Our website may collect limited technical information through website hosting, analytics, security, performance, or form tools. This may include IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website, general location information, and similar website usage data.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule service, evaluate system conditions, prepare estimates, communicate with customers, perform work, maintain records, and operate our business.
We may also use information to:
- Confirm appointment or service details
- Respond to questions or requests
- Follow up after completed work
- Maintain licensing, insurance, warranty, tax, and business records
- Improve our website, forms, communication, and customer experience
Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies. Cookies help website systems recognize a browser, understand website usage, improve performance, and support basic website functions.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.
Limited Microsoft Clarity Analytics
On three selected informational pages—the homepage, About, and The Neveu Standard—NMS uses Microsoft Clarity in its limited cookie-free mode by default. Clarity helps us understand clicks, scrolling, navigation, and technical performance so we can improve those pages. It receives a new identifier for each page view instead of using Clarity cookies to connect activity across pages.
Clarity analytics storage and advertising storage remain denied, and the project is configured with Cookies Off and Strict masking for page content. Masking does not turn off interaction or technical data collection. Contact pages, estimator and pricing-tool pages, and all other pages outside the three listed above are excluded.
You can turn Clarity off through “Analytics privacy” in the footer. We remember that opt-out in your browser for up to 180 days; clearing browser storage may reset it. Turning Clarity off stops further collection in that browser but does not erase information collected before the change. We also keep Clarity off when a browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or when the privacy preference cannot be read safely.
This setting covers Clarity only and does not change the site's separate Google Analytics measurement. To learn how Microsoft handles information, read the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Contact us using the details below for privacy questions or a request concerning information already collected.
Text Messages and Mobile Information
If you provide a mobile number or opt in to text communication, we may use that number to communicate about your inquiry, appointment, service request, project, or related business purpose.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or text messaging consent data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to operate our business, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, or work with trusted service providers.
This may include:
- Website hosting and form providers
- Email, phone, or communication providers
- Scheduling, customer management, or business software providers
- Licensed subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, utilities, or project partners when required for the work
- Regulators, insurers, legal advisors, or authorities when required by law or business necessity
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No website, email system, phone system, or electronic storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep information as long as reasonably needed for service, business, warranty, licensing, insurance, legal, tax, or recordkeeping purposes.
Your Choices
You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, request an update, or ask that we remove information where legally and operationally possible.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is intended for adults seeking mechanical, plumbing, heating, cooling, hot water, gas, or related services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, accessibility, or security of those websites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
